NAEBA Addresses COVID-19

March 24, 2020

NAEBA members,

The North American Elk Breeders Association recognizes the growing concern associated with the impact of COVID-19 (coronavirus) as federal, state/provincial and local governments work to minimize risk and prevent its spread. We are closely following the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and our public health officials.

NAEBA staff remains committed to maintaining membership services without interruption. NAEBA staff members each work remotely and are equipped with technology services and solutions that allow us to continue serving you.

NAEBA’s May issue of North American Elk is in the final stages of design and on schedule for publication. The event schedule for NAEBA’s 2020 Annual Convention & International Antler Competition, set for August 6-8 in Colorado Springs, will be released soon with registration and sponsorship opportunities beginning on May 1. Though this event is slightly less than four months away, if the CDC’s recommended meeting limitations extend into the summer months and we cannot hold the convention, NAEBA will issue refunds for attendees that have registered for the event.

We will keep our membership abreast of updates as soon as they become available. We urge our members to use caution and stay safe during the following weeks.

Kind regards,
