CEPF/NAEBA Aim to Promote Elk Industry at Canadian Western Agribition
March 7, 2017
The Canadian Elk Products Foundation (CEPF) and North American Elk Breeders Association are hoping to make a splash in promoting elk ranching and elk products in Canada this November. NAEBA has applied for an exhibit booth at the Canadian Western Agribition. Canadian Western Agribition is touted to be the largest livestock show in Canada. Located in Regina, Saskatchewan, the event promotes several species of livestock over the course of its six day expo that lasts from November 20-25, 2017.
It has been nearly twenty years since an association has had a presence at this event. This coincides with last year’s NAEBA/American Elk Products Foundation booth at the National Western Stock Show in Denver. Happy with the exposure, the association is planning to return for the 2018 show. The CEPF Board met in March and approved moving forward with plans. Other shows are being considered, as well.
CEPF/NAEBA will announce if and when booth space is secured. If you are interested in manning the booth, please start thinking about this. Requests for volunteers will be coming.
